Legs, Legs, Legs
For our Dolls with Arty Attitudes summer challenges we are learning about doll parts - challenging ourselves to try new methods.
July we focused on hands. Mitt hands. Separate fingers. Sewn on thumb.
August we made legs and feet. Who knew there were so many ways to make a leg!
September we are doing bodies.
When we are finished, we will have a complete doll.
Charlie will have a lot of complete dolls as she has really taken the lessons to heart and made multiples.

Nursery Rhymes for May Meeting
The Queen of Hearts and Mary, Mary Quite Contrary
Mary, Mary Quite Contrary came with an original book of nursery rhymes.
The Queen of Hearts is going to drop her tarts if she can't keep her tray level!
And we need to move to a different wall that doesn't have an electrical outlet!! Oh the things you see AFTER the picture is taken.
Next month our challenge is Fairies. Hope to see you and your fairy in June.

2014 Challenges
January's White & Silver challenge -
Charlie found two Christmas boot ornaments - yes, a left and a right boot - that she made a doll to fit.
Diane made a small angel that Charlie's doll is holding.
Ronda took advantage of an online class by Barbara Schoenoff to make a Christmas fairy.
Scribbles - February challenge
Soft Dolls & Animals Magazine featured Scribbles so Dolls With Arty Attitudes decided to try our hand at these cute little critters. What a variety!
We are going to keep making them for a while and then make a donation of our fine creations to a worthy cause. The bonus to these cute critters is that we can use up some of our excess stash!
March challenge is .................... Easter.
Make something Easter related. Boy that leaves the door to creativity open.
