What is your Heritage?

My heritage is.....................
For our May Challenge, we made a doll that represents our heritage(s).

Charlie with her Swedish dolls.
A true artisan, Charlie puts the utmost detail into her dolls.

Diane's proper English lady is ready for afternoon tea.
Diane, too, excellently puts in the detail on her dolls.

For anyone following Dolls With Arty Attitudes or planning to join us at a meeting, our schedule has been altered a bit to accommodate vacations over the summer.  We are meeting Tuesdays - June 21st, July 19th and August 16th.  Do come and join us if you are in the Bellevue, WA area on any of those days!

Dolls with Arty Attitudes

Dolls with Arty Attitudes meets every month with a creative challenge to stretch our skills or our imaginations.

Here are a couple of Jumping Jills from a pattern in Soft Dolls & Animals magazine.  Same pattern - very different look with just the change of fabric and color selection.

Lisa made this cute little faerie from a pattern created by Charlie.   Lisa's faerie has gold wings and a clasp on a beaded chain to hang.  How cute is that!

For our May 26th meeting, we are looking at our heritages and making a representative doll.
